Hi, I'm Jessica Epstein, Co-Founder of Grayson Elise Styling and Accessories. I'm here today at Serendipity Bridal in Austin, Texas to talk a little bit about how to find a dress for the mother of the groom. Regardless of your role in the wedding, the most important thing is to always take your queue from the bride. If she's planning a formal event, then a long formal gown would be appropriate. If her event is more casual, then you would obviously need to adjust your wardrobe more accordingly. Accepted etiquette is to let the mother of the bride choose first, then, the mother of the groom will choose a dress that complements the color and the fabric to the dresses that the mother of the bride and bridesmaids and obviously, the bride herself has chosen to wear. The pop loom detail on this particular dress is a great detail that we're seeing coming down all the bridal runways. This dress will give you a little bit of sparkle to celebrate your son's big day, but you won't take the spotlight away from the bride.
