Hi, I'm Jessie Jane from, and today I'm going to be teaching you how to make something hand made that a girl might like for her birthday. So let's get started. So, we're going to be making these princess fairy wands any girl would love them. I'm going to show you how to do that. First, you're going to need regular branches from your yard or sticks, anything you have. You could use a dowel if you had it. These are just right out of my back yard and a glue gun, some ribbon and some scissors. So take your branch and you want to break off any pieces that are sticking out. You want to have a straight wand so I'm going to break them off and this part is a little thin so I'm going to break that too, set those aside and that gives me a good length. And I'm going to take the branch and you're going to wrap it with ribbon, so whatever ribbon you want to use is fine. You're going to start at the base and you're going to use a little bit of hot glue and just attach the piece of ribbon. Okay and then you're going to wrap all the way up the stick, oops, and it's easier if you just twist the stick. It goes a lot faster. You're going to wrap all the way up the stick until it's completely covered. So I have one that's already done to show you, you get the point. When you get to the top you're going to cut it and hot glue it again just like I did at the bottom. Okay so let me put this one to the side and here is one that I already have done, hot glued on the bottom, hot glued on the top and now you're going to embellish it. So again different kinds of ribbon, you could use different thicknesses, different colors, that's what makes it so pretty and what I did was I took the ribbon and I measured it the length of the stick and then I cut it there and then I used a purple, again the length and you're going to tie these all on to the top of the stick. And this is really affordable and it's super cute. My three year old plays with all the ones we have here. I'm going to tie it in a knot at the top of the wand, get them all in there, there. And I'm going to trim off the excess and now I'm going to add, I add butterflies to these, I have little birds on them, stars, whatever you have. I have these little stars that I actually used a punch and punched out of glitter paper. They also sell them at the craft store as is, you can buy them just like this and all I'm going to do is take some more hot glue and put it right here on the knot because this is the ugly part so you want to cover it. So put some hot glue there and then stick the star right to it. You want to hold it just for a second and there you go and you could add anything. I did two different types of ribbon on this one, butterflies, birds, lots of stuff going on, different kinds, different colors. We're going to have a princess party so we're going to use all of these for our princess party. But I think any girl would love this and it's a perfect craft and if you want to see step-by-step instructions on this you can go to my website, I have it all on my blog and it's Thank you so much, and I'll see you next time.
