Hi, this is Nicholas Larocci, the home source guy, president and owner of Source Development Inc., a residential and commercial construction company in Garnerville, New York, and this is how to remove epoxy grout haze. So epoxy grouts have great bonding capacities, but the one downfall is, if you happen to walk away and not remove the entire grout residue, you'll end up with extra work. And, if you do end up with that extra work, I'm gonna walk you through it, and you show you how to remove it, give you some hints on how to remove it. Most of the grout manufacturers have their own products that might help break down the grout and help you remove it. But these are some of the products that will help you get it off, okay? This is some grout haze remover, specifically designed for the removal of haze. You'd apply it, let it sit for awhile, use an applicator, sponge applicator, very a, and remove it. Essentially, what you're doing is virtually scrubbing it off. I know that there's certain manufacturers that have you mix a combination of dish washing detergent along with water and some aggregate, some sand, and in the worst case scenarios, and you just wanna, you know, combine the two, and essentially you're sanding it off your tile's finish, and that could damage your tile. So you, again, you really wanna get as much off from the beginning as possible. So, do small areas, small concentrated areas, and just remove as much of it as you can. So once I've got our mixture of the sand and the dish washing detergent, we're gonna start by pouring it on our sponge, essentially we're gonna use this sponge, and this has been on for about two days, this particular finish, so, you could see, it's giving us a bit of a hard time to get off. So you really wanna avoid all this work, and just get it off from the beginning. Just clean it off, wait till it dries. So once we've wiped with the sponge, we'll wait till it dries, you'll get a subtle haze to it, which could be removed with a dry cloth. This was how to remove epoxy grout haze from tile. This is Nicholas Larocci, the home source guy, president and owner of Source Development Inc., a residential and commercial construction company in Garnerville, New York, helping you build a better life. We'll see you next time.
