Hi, I'm Cara Graver at the Cob Studio, and I'm here to show you knitting with broomsticks. With a little imagine, almost anything straight can be a knitting needle, for instance, a broomstick. Now, I have this base of a beach umbrella here, to show you that you need make, put a point on your broomstick. You could do that with a pocket knife and some sand paper, that'll make it much easier to knit. It was easy to enough to put the stitches onto this, without a point, but you really need a point to get in there, so that you can knit. And theoretically, you could knit with a telephone pole too, apparently. And you can see that the beach umbrella is a little bigger than the broomstick. So, but for purposes of showing what a point will do, there you have it. I'm Cara Graver at the Cob Studio, and that was knitting with broomsticks.
