Hello, this is Marcus Meyer with Gator Cleaning Solutions on how to dry a carpet after a leak. This would be a two-step extraction process. With any flood, you want to extract as much water as possible with a wet vac by starting on the surface of the carpet. After that, you would want to lift the carpet and do the same procedure to the padding under the carpet. The last step will be to put as much air flow through the area as possible by using ceiling fans or any floor fans.
