Hi, I'm Kelly Dolan from Wildyarns.com in Denver, Colorado. I am going to give you a few ideas for finishing a knitted scarf. Here are a few options for finishing a scarf. You can sew buttons on to add a little added bling to your scarf. You can add tassels so you would cut a short piece of yarn, take the crochet hook, put it through one of your knit stitches, wrap the yarn around folding it in half, pull it through the stitch, grab both of those ends and pull those through. It looks a little sad with just 1 piece of fringe but as you fill this up it'll look nice and full. Another option is to add a crocheted edge so you will take your yarn and again you'll take the crochet hook, place the crochet hook through, wrap the yarn over, pull that yarn through. Now you'll just grab 1piece of yarn, pull that through and you've got a loop on your crochet hook. You'll go to the next stitch, the next knitted stitch, put the crochet hook through, pull the yarn through and you'll just continue along and you'll have this nice crochet stitched edge along the edge of your scarf. Those are a few ideas for finishing a knitted scarf. I'm Kelly Dolan for Wildyarns.com in Denver, Colorado. Thank you for joining me, happy knitting.
