Hi I'm Colleen Mullaney for You know country decorating is really popular right now and you know, there are so many easy ways to integrate country decorating, country touches into your holiday decor. One of them is grapevine, I love grapevine but you know, some of the traditional grapevine is just kind of brown and for the holidays you want to snazz it up a little bit. So I took this plain grapevine star and I spray painted it gold and it looks really snazzy now and I'm going to put it on my mantle as a great holiday accent, maybe with some votive candles around it, I mean how country is that, perfect. And you know I wanted a couple of country accents for my tree but I didn't want to do like the red and white gingham, kind of old fashioned country, I wanted something a little bit more modern. So I came up with an idea of just like a little bow or a little bough of some eucalyptus, an orchid blossom and some really pretty ribbon. Here we have, it's really easy to make. I got this eucalyptus at the craft store and we're going to just cut this into about eight or ten inch lengths. Now if you go into any country home you'll see that instead of hanging a lot of ornaments they really like to put larger pieces of holiday decor on their tree. So that's why I thought of making like a little floral bough would be really pretty on the tree. So I have eucalyptus, let me just do one more I think, as a base, here we go, that's pretty and you know, eucalyptus smells so beautifully. Now I have this stem of orchid blossoms which I just love and they have little glittery finishes which is really pretty. It adds a nice sparkle to the holiday decor. So we're just going to take a couple here and I'm going to use some floral wire and just wire them to the eucalyptus and just take this stem and just wire it around the orchid blossom stem and then wire it to the eucalyptus right on the end and just wire it around the stems of the eucalyptus and that will also hold as a base as well, making our miniature bouquet for our country Christmas tree. Here we are. Now while you're making these ornaments you need to have country music playing in the background, some of my favorite music. Okay and now how, let me see, I'll just put this one here. Now this is really coming along, so beautiful and so easy. Now to finish up, I'm going to add some really great ribbon. Here I'll pull this one in a little bit because you really want to be able to see the eucalyptus stems. Okay, now I found this great ribbon, it's so glittery with the white and the gold and I felt it was really soft, a nice country touch. So we're going to make a nice bow around our bunch of eucalyptus and blossoms. Now if you wanted to do a little bit more country you could add some baby's breath to this. That's always a great idea, okay, and there we go and just a simple bow is all that's needed, maybe trim the ends or maybe not. Maybe when you're laying it on the tree, you can kind of trail the ribbon along and it will add a little bit more of holiday country glamor to your tree. So thanks for watching. I'm Colleen Mullaney.
