The martini is a very popular alcoholic drink that is known for its smooth, well blended taste. Martinis come in many flavors and are made to suit your tastes. If you are having a Martini party or just looking for a few good red martini recipes to try, get your martini shaker and shot glasses ready.

Pomegranate Martini

  • To create the pomegranate martini you will need 1 oz. of Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka, 1/2 oz. of Grand Marnier, one splash (teaspoon) of pomegranate juice, one splash (teaspoon) of tonic water and a lemon twist. Put ice in the shaker and combine all the ingredients together in your shaker. Place the top on your martini shaker and mix the ingredients together by shaking it vigorously. After the mixing is done strain the chilled mixture into a martini glass, leaving the ice behind in the shaker. Garnish your drink with the lemon twist.

Cosmopolitan Martini

  • The cosmopolitan martini consists of 1.25 oz. of Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka, 0.25 oz. of triple sec, 1 oz. of cranberry juice and a lemon twist. Mix all of these ingredients together in a shaker and add ice to cool the martini. Place the top on your martini shaker and shake the mixture for a few seconds. Strain the drink into the martini glass and garnish it with a lemon twist.

Red Apple Martini

  • The red apple martini ingredients include 1oz. of apple vodka, 2 oz. of apple juice and 1 tsp. of grenadine. To make this apple flavored drink you must combine all the ingredients listed above in an ice-filled shaker. Place the top on the shaker to mix the ingredients and cool the martini. Garnish the martini glass by either dipping the rim of it into sugar. Another garnish option is to add a slice of a red apple to your drink. Strain the apple martini mixture into garnished martini glass and enjoy.
