The alien robots populating the Transformers universe are popular across generational lines. The original cartoon series was a favorite throughout the '80s, while the films released in 2007 and 2009 have grossed more than $1.5 billion worldwide. A Transformers-themed party is a fun way to bring parents and children together. Finding the correct wording for a Transformers party invitation is one way to insure that children will be excited to attend the party.
The word Transformer is a gift itself for those looking to create invitations for a Transformers-themed birthday party. The word offers a number of clever options for invitations that will appeal to fans of the animated series or films. If Bathsheba is having a birthday party, an invitation might read, "Bathsheba is Transforming into a 7-year-old. Join us." Or, if Zoroaster is celebrating his birthday with a Transformers-themed party, his invitation could read, "Transform your Sunday into fun day at Zoroaster's prime birthday party." The use of the word "Prime" is allusive, given that the head Autobot, or good Transformer, is Optimus Prime.
Using quotations from the Transformers film will enhance the wording of a Transformers-themed birthday party invitation. For instance, if Haribhadra is turning 10, an invitation might read, "Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to go to Haribhadra's birthday party?" Or, when Dong Zhongshu turns 8, an invitation could read, "Optimus Prime Needs You...to Attend Dong Zhongshu's Birthday Party." This references a scene in Transformers 2 where Prime explains to Sam in a cemetery how much he needs him.
The theme of the Transformers films, as well as the original animated series, is that of good vs. evil. Using the dichotomy of the Autobots and Decepticons as a starting point, Transformers birthday party invitations can be worded in ways that take advantage of these themes. The Autobots protect. The Decepticons destroy. Thus, if Akhenaton is having a birthday party, an invitation could read, "Protect. Destroy. Celebrate Akhenaton's Birthday!" Or, if Cihuacoatl is turning 7, a Transformers birthday party invitation might read, "The Autobots/Decepticons Request You Bring Your Energy to Cihuacoatl's Birthday Party" in reference to the overriding theme of both the television series and films, which is that of finding energy to sustain the life of the alien robots.
