  • While sicknesses are uncommon problems associated with mold from the bathroom, some individuals can become very sick when exposed to mold over time. Young children, elderly and pregnant women can end up with flu-like symptoms as a result of the mold and mildew in the bathroom. Aches and pains that result from the sickness are common health problems associated with mold exposure in those who are sensitive to the mold and mildew. Children are especially at risk for sicknesses associated with mold from the bathroom.
