If you're attending a friend or family member's bachelorette party or are part of the bridal party, it's important to find a gift that you know the bride-to-be will enjoy. While the bachelorette party is often the time to give gag gifts, there are some classy presents that you can present to your loved one that she will cherish for years.
If the bride-to-be loves to be pampered, it is appropriate to present her with items such as bath salts, body oils or lotions as a bachelorette gift. Salt scrubs and facial masks that spas use can also be included in the gift so that the bride can use these products to look her best on the honeymoon. His-and-her massage oils are also appropriate, as many bridesmaids give the woman who is getting married gifts that she will be able to share with her husband. It's a good idea to fill a gift basket with a variety of spa items so that the bachelorette will be able to use the gift for a long period. A gift certificate to the bride-to-be's favorite spa will be a welcomed gift as well.
While many women give racy lingerie at a bachelorette party, this may be uncomfortable for a bride-to-be who is especially conservative. Attractive pajamas or intimate apparel that is not to revealing or suggestive would make a classy bachelorette gift---items like silk bathrobes or nightgowns are appropriate. Giving the bride slippers made from silk or satin to complement the bathrobe is also a good idea; designing a small plush blanket made from quality material that includes the bride's new initials can also serve as a gift that the bride can use in the bedroom, without being embarrassed to show the gift at the bachelorette party.
Engaged women who enjoy cooking or trying new foods may enjoy receiving edible gifts at the bachelorette party. A present such as a fondue pot, along with some premium chocolate for the bride to prepare sweet fondue for herself and her husband, will make a great gift. A gourmet assortment of cheeses and fruits will provide the bride-to-be and her new husband with a romantic appetizer before dinner; pairing the cheeses with the bachelorette's favorite wine will make for an exquisite gift that is classy.
