AmeriServe Flood City Music Festival

  • Taking place since 2004, this event is a community tradition, an annual music festival that takes place for three days every year on Labor Day weekend. Offering up folk music from local and national musicians, the festival brings together community members and visitors for barbecue and tunes. Sponsored by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association, the event is located in the Festival Park in Johnstown, PA.

Cambria County Fair

  • The Cambria County Fair begins every Labor Day weekend and closes the following weekend. The first fair started in 1891, making it a local tradition. Ticket price of $8 entitles guests to entry to all attractions, including rides, games, animal zoos, and car shows. The fair also serves up traditional fair food, barbecue and sweets.

Harrisburg Kipona Festival

  • This annual event begins Labor Day weekend and offers tunes from local musicians. The event also features ArtFest, showcasing arts and crafts from artisans in the area. Located in Riverfront Park in Marietta, near Harrisburg, the festival has food for sale from vendors. A fireworks display lights up the sky each night.
