Partylite Booking Ideas

A Partylite direct-sales consultant counts on parties as the mainstay of her business. Party bookings can sometimes be difficult to achieve -- even customers who love the products don't love the idea of hosting a demonstration in their homes. Partylite offers benefits such as free and discounted merchandise to party hostesses, but often this is not enough to convince a customer to book a party. As a Partylite consultant, your business may depend on your ability to create new ideas for booking incentives that give prospective hostesses the extra nudge needed to convince them to schedule a party.

Gift Certificate

  • To encourage party guests to book their own parties, offer a gift certificate in addition to the benefits that hostesses already receive. Sometimes an additional $10 or $15 to spend on any item they choose is enough to convince someone to host a party. Print the gift certificates from your home computer and bring them to the party. Leave a blank space for the date the gift certificate can be redeemed. When a guest books a party, fill in that party date as the only time this gift certificate may be redeemed. This will clarify that the gift certificate is only to be used at the upcoming party and not at the time of the booking.

Party in Your Home

  • Often times, guests would like to host a party and earn free merchandise. However, a home with limited space, the disruption to their families' routines or the need to provide refreshments makes them hesitant. Offer to hold their parties in your home. You will provide the party space, the coffee and the cake while the hostess will provide the guests and receive the same benefits as a traditional hostess. As the consultant, you also benefit as the party hosted in your home allows you to display more merchandise than you could if you were to pack up and travel to another location.

Occasion Party

  • Advertise occasion parties to encourage people to include a Partylite demonstration in another event they already plan to host. Holiday parties are an optimal place to show off your seasonal candle decorations while guests shop for gifts as they mingle with friends. Partylite birthday parties are a great way for friends to host an event in honor of the birthday girl, who doesn't host the party, but receives the hostess benefits as her gift. A Partylite bridal shower can provide the bride-to-be with all she needs to light up her new home.

Bookings Through Hostess

  • Put your current party hostess to work to find future party hosts. Offer additional incentives to the hostess who convinces two or more of her party guests to book a show. Ideas for incentives include a free candleholder or one free candle for each booking she garners. Cash incentives are another option; $5 per booking can inspire the hostess who wants to collect the most hostess benefits she can.
