Located in the northwest corner of Arkansas, Russellville sits just over an hour northwest of Little Rock. Lake Dardanelle State Park
A 34,300-acre reservoir just outside Russellville, Lake Dardanelle and the Lake Dardanelle State Park provide a scenic and rustic setting for a wedding. The 10,000-plus-square-foot visitors center at the park includes a multiple-purpose meeting room and several smaller classrooms, as well as a catering kitchen. Each of the meeting and classrooms can be rented for $350 a day, as of 2011, according to the park's website. For an outdoor wedding, Lake Dardanelle State Park also features two outdoor pavilions that can be rented for $60 per day, as of 2011.
River Valley Arts Center
For an intimate wedding, the River Valley Arts Center offers several options for venue rentals. Located in the Russellville City Park, the River Valley Arts Center features a beautiful outdoor garden with a koi pond and garden arbor, where a bride and groom could hold an outdoor wedding service. Indoors, couples can rent two of the art galleries or the small meeting room, and a small kitchen is available for meals and catering. Facility rental fees start at $50 for a half day and $100 for the full day with a $25 cleaning deposit, as of 2011, according to the center's website.
Mount Nebo State Park
Offering another scenic and natural setting for a wedding in Russellville, the Mount Nebo State Park has two pavilions that may be rented for weddings. One of the pavilions is a standard-sized pavilion for smaller weddings and can be rented for $50 a day, as of 2011. The other pavilion, which is extra large, can accommodate larger groups and goes for $275 a day, as of 2011. A $20 clean-up fee is charged for any groups over 50, according to the park's website. Both of the pavilions are enclosed, providing shelter in case of inclement weather.
Hampton Inn Russellville
Couples looking for a more traditional wedding setting can turn to the Hampton Inn Russellville. The Hampton Inn Russellville features a 729 square foot meeting room, the Grand Victorian, which can hold up to 50 people for a wedding and reception, according to the hotel's website. Rental fees vary depending on the size of the party and the time of year. Additionally, the Hampton Inn Russellville has 83 guest rooms to accommodate out-of-town and overnight guests. The Hampton Inn helps the bride and groom with all the planning details, offering online reservations of the meeting room and guest rooms, a personalized group webpage for the event and access to local wedding vendors to complete the planning process.
