Spa Salon Party Ideas for Kids
When hosting a spa and salon birthday party for your daughter, create an exciting day or night for the guest of honor and her friends. Plan a party at an actual spa or incorporate many of the ideas into the invitations, games and activities and host the party at your home. Either way, decorations and activities are possible to keep guests squealing with excitement. Does this Spark an idea?

Invitations
-
Print a spa-themed invitation on which to write your party details. Punch a hole in one of the corners and attach a tube of lip gloss to the invitation. Hand-deliver or mail the invitations in padded envelopes. Another idea is to print the party invitation details on labels and stick them on bottles of lotion to personally deliver to the guests.
Decorations
-
Create an elegant spa look by covering the walls and furniture with white or pink sheets. Hang strands of white lights around the party area to make everything glow. Scatter spa and salon party items, such as spa masks, fingernail files, sleep masks, lipstick confetti, play makeup, hair accessories and small spa-themed stickers, around the location. Spa and salon-themed party supplies and tableware are available at many party supplies stores. If the party is for your child's birthday, use pink, purple and white streamers and balloons to give the party a feminine look.

Stations
-
Create several spa and salon stations around your home. Set up a nail station, facial station, makeup station and hair station. The girls go to each station to be pampered by a few volunteer adults or older teens willing to help. At the nail stations, the girls have their toes and nails done, along with the application of nail art stickers if desired. At the facial station the girls get a mud mask before moving on to the makeup station, where they will have their makeup done. Finally, at the hair station, the girls have their hair done with curls or funky color, whichever they choose.
Foil Accessory Game
-
After everyone has her spa and salon makeover, divide the girls into teams of two or three players. Give each team a roll of aluminum foil and send each team into a different room. The teams must use the aluminum foil to create accessories for their hair and to wear as jewelry using only the aluminum foil. Give the girls 20 minutes to come up with as many creative accessories as they can. After 20 minutes, they model their accessories for all the party guests. Award prizes for the best, worst, silliest, funniest and scariest aluminum foil accessories.
