Give small gifts to your guests at your rehearsal dinner.

Most people who are getting married have a rehearsal the day before their wedding so that everyone knows what they should do. They also typically have a rehearsal dinner for the wedding party and close family members and friends. Some brides and grooms might opt to give small gifts to the people who attend their rehearsal dinner as a token of thanks for coming to the wedding and supporting them as a couple.

  1. Local Items

    • If you are having a destination wedding, or if many of your guests are from out of town, choose items that the wedding locale is known for. For example, if you are getting married near a vineyard, give each guest a small bottle of wine that holds only a glass or two of wine. Other ideas are local honeys or jams. For a beach wedding, give all of your guests flip flops or sunscreen with a sticker on the front with both of your names and your wedding date.

    Sweets

    • Give each of your guests sweets as a gift at the wedding reception. For example, have gourmet truffles or chocolates shaped like a bride and groom specially made for the occasion. Place the chocolates in a decorative box in your wedding colors and tie it with a bow. Use a bow that is printed with the bride's and groom's name or stencil the wedding date on the outside of the box.

    Soaps

    • Choose soaps as a gift for the guests at your rehearsal dinner. Select small soaps in the color of your wedding or the decorations at your rehearsal dinner. You could choose simple square soaps or soaps that are shaped like wedding-themed objects. For example, choose soaps shaped like a wedding cake, a bouquet of flowers or an engagement ring. Another idea is to give men soaps shaped like grooms and women soaps shaped like brides. If you don't like the idea of giving both men and women soaps, give women soaps and men a small bottle of aftershave lotion.

    Kids' Gifts

    • Don't forget about the children who will be present at your rehearsal dinner. They might find the dinner, the toasts and the gifts you are purchasing for everyone else quite boring. Therefore, you could give each child a gift that will help keep him occupied. For example, choose a coloring book and a small box of crayons or a small toy.
