The city of Little Rock is located on the Arkansas River, in the Ouachita foothills in Pulaski County, Arkansas. The city is home to a long list of festivals throughout the year, historic sites, performing arts and museums, such as the Children's Museum of Arkansas. It's no wonder that a place full of interesting and exciting attractions would also have venues for special events, including kids' birthday parties.

Little Rock Zoo

  • Celebrate your child's next birthday at the Little Rock Zoo, where you can choose between two birthday themes. The "Jungle Room Party," for a maximum of 30 guests, is for kids ages 1 to 12 and includes a party host and the use of the Zoo Education Jungle Room for one hour. The "Wild Zoo Party," for a maximum of 20 guests, is for kids ages 4 to 12 and includes two hosts, a live animal encounter, a mini favorite-animal tour, an animal information packet and a birthday backpack for the celebrant and the use of the Zoo Education Jungle Room for two hours. Both parties also include drinks and loot bags for the kids, a train ride, a trip into the Enrichment Pool and plates, forks and napkins. Reservations are required three weeks in advance.

Jump Zone

  • Jump Zone is an indoor party play center that offers three party plans to choose from. "Jump!Party" is for 25 kids, "Classic!Party" is for 20 kids and "Small!Party" is for 15 kids. Each party can spend one hour and 15 minutes in the play area where kids can slide down themed inflatable slides, find their way through obstacle courses, jump in bounce houses and play interactive games. Parties also include tablecloths, paper plates, cups, napkins, utensils, invitations or use of Jump Zone's ezInvite party management system, which allows you to send electronic invitations. A fee is charged for each extra child that exceeds the party limit with a maximum of five extra guests per party.

Arkansas Skatium

  • Birthday parties in Arkansas Skatium consist of gold, silver or bronze public party options. The bronze option has no food but has drinks, and the silver and gold levels include food options and drinks. Additionally, the bronze and silver options include an ice or roller skate session, but the gold option includes both roller and ice skates. Bronze and silver parties have a free future admission pass for the celebrant, and the gold has one for each guest. All parties include party invitations, a balloon bouquet for the table, 45 minutes in the party area, an ice cream cup for each child and complete table settings. Also offered are private party options with private use of the roller facility for one and a half hours.

Little Rock Climbing Center

  • Birthday parties for kids ages 6 or older may be held at Little Rock Climbing Center. Your child and guests can spend an hour and a half wall climbing followed by a 30-minute party in the loft. Food and drinks are not provided, but the birthday party rate includes a harnesses, climbing technique lesson for adults and a chalk bag for the birthday celebrant. It is recommended that one adult is available to work as a belayer for every three climbers, although you may pay an additional fee for each belayer needed. A rate is paid for each climber, and you must have a minimum of 8 climbers in your party.
