Colorado offers plenty of beautiful scenery for an outdoor ceremony that doesn't cost much more than a beautiful day in the forecast. But if you want more than your basic outdoor wedding without breaking the bank, it doesn't take much to find a perfect low-cost wedding location in Colorado.
Stonebrook is a 2,400-square-foot manor in Thornton. Guests enter through the Grand Foyer, which includes a baby grand piano, fireplace and seating leading into either the Grand Ballroom, which seats 800 to 1,100 people; or the Marquise or Tiffany ballrooms, which each seat 100 to 300 people. Ceremonies can take place during the day or evening with the total time allowed at 7.5 hours from set up to break down. Ceremony cost begins at $600, which includes the ceremony in the wedding chapel, garden or ballroom. The cost for renting the reception space starts at $1,000, which includes set up and tear down, chairs and tables, dinnerware and glassware, linens, cake cutting, bride and groom preparation rooms, video projection use, one-night stay at the Ramada Plaza and someone to help plan the event. Buffet-style catering menus start at $25 per plate.
Stone Mountain Lodge and Cabins
Stone Mountain Lodge and Cabins is in Lyons. The regular wedding season runs from April 15 to October 31. Rates based on package choice start at $795 for a small ceremony with up to 15 people. This package includes one hour at a vine-covered arbor ceremony site, set up of chairs, a bridal bouquet, boutonniere, use of the arbor and garden area for two hours after the ceremony with a wedding cake for two, engraved champagne flutes, chocolates, champagne and fresh flowers in your cabin. The full wedding package, which costs $1,950 to $4,900, includes use of the ceremony site with the vine-covered arbor from 9 a.m. to midnight, a small tented area for greetings and cocktails, a bridal tent, a reception tent that includes a dance floor, tables, chairs, tent heaters and staff to move chairs from the ceremony location to the reception location. Winter weddings are held from November 1 through April 15 either inside a cabin or outside for $650. These weddings are designed for a private ceremony with a reception held at a later date.
The Summit Conference and Events Center
The Summit is in Aurora. The Rocky Mountain ballroom can accommodate up to 500 guests and the Pikes Peak Ballroom seats 200 people. Reception packages include rental of the room, set up and break down of the ballroom, linens, place settings, centerpieces and beverage centers. The cost of the ballroom rental is included if you are using the facility's catering services and have at least 150 guests. Wedding brunch is offered for $27.95 per person and buffet-style dinners are $25.95 per person. Self-catering options run $500 to $5,500, and include rental of the room, ballroom set up, linens and service at the bar.
The Chapel at Red Rocks
The Chapel at Red Rocks is in the foothills of Morrison near Red Rocks Amphitheater. Rates include use of the facility, flowers, music, minister,candles, lighting and a special print. Rates range from $915 to $1,990.
