Taking the iconic Scottish terrier dog as inspiration, there are a number of craft activities available to make your own Scottie dog. The following craft activities are suitable for both children and adults, although some will require adult supervision.

With a piece of paper, it is possible to fold it in different shapes until it clearly resembles a Scottie.       Once the origami Scottie dog has been made, you can color him in, or design patterns for his coat.

    Scottie Sock Doll

    • Both children and adults can make a Scottie sock doll. You will need a stretchy sock, poly-fill to stuff the sock, rubber bands, scissors and a hot melting glue gun. If you are making this with a child, ensure you supervise at all times, as it involves using scissors and strong glue.

      Once you have made the basic Scottie sock, you can decorate it with buttons and other materials.
