Instructions

    • 1

Match the right sides of the body fabric and the cuff fabric together. The printed sides of the fabric should be on the inside. Sew a 1/2 inch seam along this edge with a sewing machine straight edge.

    • 2

Spread out the fabric on the table so that the cuff piece of fabric is not visible. The wrong side of the fabric should be facing up towards you.

    • 3

Starting at the side of the fabric that does not have a seam, roll the fabric like a burrito until you see the cuff piece of fabric underneath. Do not roll the cuff fabric. Roll the body fabric until you reach the seam.

    • 4

Fold the bottom edge of the cuff fabric up over the rolled body fabric. Line up the edge of the cuff fabric with the seamed edge. Pin and sew a straight seam through the seamed fabric edge and the cuff.

    • 5

Pull the fabric roll out of the tube and turn right side out. This make take some work as you pull the rolled insides out with your fingers. This will leave you with the pillow cuff. Iron the cuff so that it is straight.

    • 6

Fold the fabric in half lengthwise with the right side out. Sew a 1/4-inch straight seam along the side and bottom of the pillowcase.

    • 7

Turn inside out and press the pillowcase flat. Sew another 1/4inch seam along the side and bottom of the pillowcase. This will encase the raw edges of the seams.

    • 8

Turn right side out. Press the pillowcase and stuff with a pillow.
