Access the App Store on any iPhone with an Internet connection.

Apple's iPhone comes with the Photos app preinstalled. You can choose any image from the Camera Roll or albums to use as wallpaper. Unfortunately, the Photos application does not allow you to rotate any of the images stored on the device. Use applications from the App Store to rotate images on the iPhone.

Instructions

  1. Adobe Photoshop Express

    • 1

      Tap the "App Store" icon on the iPhone home screen, followed by "Search" at the bottom of the App Store window. Type "Adobe Photoshop Express" in the search bar and tap the "Search" option.

      Tap the "Adobe Photoshop Express" icon in the list of search results. Tap the "Free" button, followed by "Install."

      Tap the "Adobe Photoshop Express" app icon on the iPhone home screen.

      Tap the "Select Photo" option, followed by the name of the photo album that contains the wallpaper you wish to rotate. Tap the image to open it in Adobe Photoshop Express.

      Tap the "Pencil" icon to bring up a list of photo-editing options. Tap "Crop" in the upper-left corner of the application window and select "Rotate" from the drop-down menu.

      Place two fingers on the iPhone's screen and twist your fingers to rotate the image to the desired angle. Tap "OK" to save the changes.

      Tap the "Save" icon to save the newly rotated image.

      Tap the "Photos" icon on the iPhone home screen, followed by "Camera Roll" or an album name. Tap the rotated wallpaper to open the image in the Photos application.

      Tap the "Action" icon in the bottom-left corner of the Photos window and select the "Use as Wallpaper" option from the menu. Tap "Set" to set the newly rotated wallpaper as your iPhone wallpaper.

    iRotate Photo

      Tap the "App Store" icon on the iPhone home screen, followed by "Search." Type "iRotate Photo" in the search bar and tap "Search." Tap the "iRotate Photo" icon in the list of search results. Tap the "Free" button, followed by "Install" to install the application.

      Tap the "iRotate Photo" app icon on the iPhone home screen to launch the application. Tap the "New" button in the bottom-right corner of the application window, followed by the "Choose From Library" option.

      Tap the photo album that contains the wallpaper image you want to rotate, followed by the wallpaper image icon to open the image in the iRotate Photo application.

      Tap the "Rotate Left" button to rotate the image to the left. Tap the "Rotate Right" button to rotate the image to the right. Tap "Save."

      Tap the "Photos" icon on the iPhone home screen, followed by "Camera Roll" or an album name. Tap the rotated wallpaper to open the image in the Photos application. Tap the "Action" icon in the bottom-left corner of the Photos window and select the "Use as Wallpaper" option from the menu that appears. Tap "Set" to set the newly rotated wallpaper as your iPhone wallpaper.

    Photo Rotate

      Tap the "App Store" icon on the iPhone home screen, followed by "Search." Type "Photo Rotate" in the search bar and tap the "Search" option. Tap the "Photo Rotate" icon in the list of search results. Tap the "Free" button, followed by the "Install" button to install the application.

      Tap the "Photo Rotate" application icon on the iPhone home screen to launch the application. Tap the "Pick Image" button in the bottom-left corner of the application window.

      Tap the photo album that contains the wallpaper image you want to rotate, followed by the wallpaper image icon to open the image in the Photo Rotate application.

      Tap the "Rotate Left" button to rotate the image to the left. Tap the "Rotate Right" button to rotate the image to the right. Tap "Save," followed by the "Just Save" option to save the image.

      Tap the "Photos" icon on the iPhone home screen, followed by "Camera Roll" or an album name. Tap the rotated wallpaper to open the image in the Photos application. Tap the "Action" icon in the bottom-left corner of the Photos window and select the "Use as Wallpaper" option from the menu that appears. Tap "Set" to set the newly rotated wallpaper as your iPhone wallpaper.
