Keeping baby bottles clean helps prevent discoloration. Discoloration can come from stains from formula or other liquids left inside the bottles for long periods. By emptying the bottles after each use and washing them, you can prevent stains from forming and remove any that do appear. Dish detergent removes the marks safely. In addition to removing stains, the dish detergent removes odors. All bottles need to be washed between uses, no matter what they held, to prevent the growth of bacteria.
