A Flavor Wave oven cooks foods up to three times faster than the amount of time it would take to cook the same foods in a conventional oven. The Flavor Wave can cook countless food items, including whole potatoes. When cooking whole potatoes in this appliance, it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions so that you can achieve satisfactory results.
Things You'll Need
- Scrub brush
- Non-stick cooking spray
Wash the outer skin of the potato with water and a scrub brush to remove gritty dirt.
Spray the lower rack of the Flavor Wave oven with a non-stick cooking spray.
Set the Flavor Wave at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the washed potato directly onto the lower oven rack and close the lid.
Set the timer for 41 minutes to thoroughly cook the potato. Remove the potato from the oven with tongs and turn the appliance off.
Tips & Warnings
- Wipe down the inside of the oven with a clean towel after cooking to remove cooking-spray residue.
- Smaller or larger potatoes make take more or less time in the Flavor Wave.
