How to Clean Costa Del Mar Sunglasses
Costa Del Mar sunglasses, designed for outdoor and water sports, are made in various designs including dual and wraparound lenses. Costa sunglasses feature 100 percent polarized lens material that offers UVA/UVB protection. Other features include antiglare and scratch resistance, with yellow light reduction available with the Costa 580TM lenses. As with all sunglasses, it is extremely important to remove dust, oils and dirt that can impair your sight and reduce the life of the lens material. Typically, cleaning only requires the use of a lens cleaner or neutral dishwashing solution and a few non-abrasive cloths.

- Neutral dishwashing liquid
Instructions

Lens Cleaner

1
Rinse your Costa Del Mar sunglasses with warm water.

3
Wipe the lens material with a Costa or generic brand micro-fiber lens cleaning cloth. Hold your sunglasses up to a light source to confirm that you've removed all particles and smudges. Repeat as needed until the material is completely clean.

Repeat this process with the other lens or side and a fresh cloth.
Neutral Dishwashing Liquid

Rinse your Costa sunglasses with warm water.
-
6
Fill a small spray bottle with warm water. Add one to two drops of a neutral dishwashing liquid to the water and cap the bottle. Shake the bottle to mix the solution.
-
7
Spray the front and back of both lenses, or wraparound, with the solution and wipe clean with a damp microfiber cloth. Rinse the lens material again with warm water to remove residue.
-
8
Wipe the lenses or wraparound with a dry microfiber cloth. Hold the sunglasses up to a light when finished to make sure that you've removed all smudges. If necessary, wipe the material with a damp cloth and then follow again with a dry one until you've removed all marks.
