1
Break down all of the chores involved in keeping your house immaculately clean. Include anything you have to do to clean the house, no matter how seldom it needs done. For example, dishes need washing every day. Clothes may only need washed once a week, and the garage might only get touched once a year. Nevertheless, write them all down.

2
Divide your house cleaning list into sections. The first section is for daily chores, the second for weekly chores, the third for monthly and the fourth for yearly. Place each chore in the category it belongs.

Create a cleaning schedule for yourself. Making a schedule will help you keep your house immaculately clean. Find a time during the day to complete all daily chores. For example, you might prefer to do the dishes in the morning before leaving for work or at night after dinner. Then, schedule a day of the week for each weekly chore, such as laundry on Sunday and cleaning the refrigerator on Wednesday. Finally, schedule a time for monthly and yearly chores.

Split up the chores if possible. If you have other people in your house who have not been taking responsibility for cleaning, give them some chores to do. This will make it more likely that you'll be able to keep your house immaculately clean. Everyone should be responsible for their own rooms, but give out other chores based on age appropriateness.

Put it into action. Once you have a cleaning plan in place, try it out. Adjust the plan as needed to make sure your house stays clean. For example, you might find that doing the dishes in the morning takes too long and you never get done. To keep your house clean, move the dishes to after you get home from work instead. Ask your family members who have chores from your list to give you feedback, as well.
