An inexpensive mixture of vinegar and water works perfectly for cleaning not only windows, but also the glass surfaces in your household. Many people opt to avoid the use of commercial cleaning products because many cleaners are filled with potentially harmful chemical ingredients that are unsafe for both the home and family. Instead, combine the vinegar and water in a way that keeps it strong enough to use as a cleaning solution, yet mild enough for use on your windows.
Things You'll Need
- Spray bottle
- White vinegar
- Cleaning rags
Fill a spray bottle with equal portions water and white vinegar.
Spray the vinegar over your windows or glass surfaces. Cover the entire surface with a light mist of the homemade spray.
Wipe off the solution, rubbing in large circular motions.
Continue until all cleaning residue is removed. The solution will dry streak-free, leaving your windows with a flawless shine.
