Move all items out of the room. Cover large pieces of furniture or other items you cannot move with plastic drop cloths. Cover floors with drop cloths as well. They will protect the items from possible damage if the cleaning solution comes in contact with it.

2
Attach the upholstery brush to your vacuum and remove cobwebs stuck on the crackle ceiling. Refrain from sweeping the upholstery brush across the ceiling and instead sit the brush over the cobwebs and suck them into the vacuum.

Gain access to your ceiling by climbing on a step stool. Mist the crackle ceiling with the mixture and blot clean with a lint-free cloth. Do not rub or scrub the crackle ceiling. Doing so will damage the ceiling texture. Work in small sections of the crackle ceiling at a time.
