How to Cure Cloudy Glassware in a Dishwasher
The dishwasher is effective in cleaning your dirty dishes, but often glassware ends up with a cloudy film that the dishwasher is unable to remove. Glassware is sometimes difficult to keep flawless, but by adding an extra cleaning ingredient to your dishwasher cycle you can remove residue and keep the glassware flawless and free of cloudiness. Pour 1 cup white vinegar into the bottom of your dishwasher. Run a normal wash cycle, adding your regular dishwasher detergent. The vinegar will naturally remove the cloudiness from your glassware.

Remove tougher film by soaking the glassware. Fill your sink with equal parts white vinegar and warm water and let the glassware soak for about one hour.

Remove the glassware and gently scrub each piece with a cleaning rag saturated with the vinegar and water mixture.

Rinse the glassware and dry with a clean rag for a spotless finish.
