How to Hang a Chandelier Over a Table
Chandeliers are an elegant and stylish lighting feature that you can add to your home. If you plan to hang one, you need to make sure it is suspended at the appropriate height. Move your table to the location you want it. Make sure you are happy with the table's position before you hang the chandelier.

Measure 32 inches from the center of the table toward to the ceiling. Hold the measuring tape against the middle of the table and raise it vertically.

Place something on the table to indicate 32 inches off the table. A stack of books is perfect for this job.

Hold the chandelier chain against the ceiling so the lower-most point touches the stack of books.

With a marker, note the length of chain needed to create the distance you want from the table.

Install the chandelier according to the instructions included with your fixture.
