The Cleveland Browns are a storied NFL franchise, starting their history in 1946 and winning numerous championships. Though the franchise was inactive during the 1996 to 1999 seasons, the Dawg Pound never left the heart of Cleveland. Painting a room in Cleveland Browns colors --- seal brown, orange and white --- gives you an opportunity to show off your rabid fandom for the Browns. Several painting ideas can help customize your room and show support for this franchise.
Things You'll Need
- Level or yardstick
- Painter's tape
Paint the walls alternating colors. For example, paint one wall brown, two walls orange and the fourth wall white.
Make stripes on painted walls with the accent colors, using a level or yardstick to create straight lines. On the brown wall, paint orange stripes; the orange walls get brown stripes.
Draw two 45-degree lines starting in a top corner of the brown wall, near the ceiling, angling to the wall's midway point. Level off and draw a straight line to finish the stripe, extending it to the next wall. Tape the lines with painter's tape prior to painting, to ensure the accent color doesn't bleed into the brown wall.
Trace large numbers representing the players of your choice on each orange wall. Tape the lines with painter's tape and paint in either the accent color white or brown.
