How to Get Cheap DSL Service
Some homes are best suited for cable Internet because of the way they're wired, while others are best suited for DSL. DSL service can reach just about anywhere a phone line can, because it uses the same wires as phone lines at a higher frequency. DSL also doesn't require an outside technician; you can simply install it yourself using the phone jack. Want to get DSL service but don't want to pay a premium price? By following a few steps you can get the cheapest DSL service possible.

1
Call several DSL providers in your area and ask if they have any specials. DSL companies often give three- to six-month specials where they give you a low price to get started. You'll often be able to continue getting very low rates if you switch between DSL companies every six months or so, continually taking advantage of specials.
