Hand fans can keep you cool in the summer heat.

Hand fans can help you cool yourself off when you are outdoors in the heat for long periods of time, such as during a sporting event or a festival. Although you can buy hand fans at a sporting goods or party supply store, you can also make your own hand fans using materials that can be found around the house, such as cardboard. Once finished, you can carry your hand fan in your backpack to fan yourself off when you feel overheated.
