Stove Top is a simple-to-make dried stuffing mix. Stove Top stuffing flavors include chicken, pork, cornbread and savory herbs, among others. Make a box of Stove Top stuffing and serve it alongside your Thanksgiving, Christmas or other holiday dinners. You can also use the flavorful stuffing to create pot pies and casseroles. .

Boil 1 1/4 cups of water in a saucepan.

Add 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine to the boiling water and allow it to melt.

Pour the dry Stove Top stuffing mix into the boiling water. Turn off the stove burner. Stir the mixture into the water. Cover the pan with a lid and allow the stuffing to stand for five minutes prior to serving it.

Customize the prepared Stove Top stuffing with a variety of mix-ins. Stir in 1/2 cup of shredded carrots, one can of sliced mushrooms, 1/2 cup almonds, pecans or any other type or nuts, or one can of drained mandarin orange segments. Add just one mix-in or several at one time, depending on your preferences.
