How to Wrap a Sandwich in Wax Paper

Wrap your sandwich in wax paper to keep it from becoming soggy.

Wax paper is waterproofed with wax or paraffin. Instead of placing your sandwich in a zipper-sealed bag, you can wrap it in wax paper. Wax paper allows the bread to breathe, and it will not trap excess moisture. This will prevent your sandwich from becoming soggy. Instructions

  Tear off a sheet of wax paper twice as long as the sandwich.

  Place the sandwich in the center of the wax paper.

  Grab the two long sides of the wax paper. Fold the sides over the sandwich and overlap the paper.

  Grab the remaining sides of the wax paper. Fold the sides into a triangle, and wrap them downward underneath the sandwich.

  Tape the triangles in place to keep your sandwich from falling apart.
