How to Construct a Neon Sign
Neon signs are used by businesses everywhere to display whether the store is open and to draw attention to the store front. Neon signs also make the place of business more visible at night. Custom ordering neon signs is expensive and homemade ones have the same effect for a fraction of the cost. All that is required to make neon signs from home is a few spare minutes of time and some simple supplies.

Make A Neon Sign
-
1
Use the hand drill to drill a small hole in the top two corners of the sheet of Plexiglas. Brush away the shavings left by the drill.
-
2
Attach the "S" hooks to the Plexiglas sign and the chain. This will allow the sign to be hung from a hook or nail on the wall.
-
-
3
Use the hot glue gun to draw small portions of the letters to be put on the neon sign. Quickly glue the neon light rope to the hot glue, starting from the end of the rope without a power cord.
-
4
Continue the process across the entire sign until all of the letters and designs are finished.
-
5
Allow the glue to dry. Plug in the light rope and hang your neon sign.
