1
Rub the bottom of your Ecco GTX shoes against the bristled shoe cleaners outside of any clubhouse after your golf round. Once you remove the shoes, bang them together lightly to remove any loose dirt, grass or mud from the bottom of the shoe's cleats.
-
2
Use the screwdriver included with the shoes to remove the spikes. Soak the spikes in soapy water to remove any additional dirt or mud. Use the screwdriver to return the spikes to the shoes once you are finished.

3
Use a bristled brush to remove larger chunks of dirt from the bottom of the shoe if you do not want to remove the spikes.
-
4
Use a golf tee to carve out any finer pieces of debris, as well as to dig out any dirt stuck in the shoe's grooves.
-
5
Brush the top of your Ecco GTX shoes with a shoe brush to remove any dirt, then wipe them down with a damp cloth.
-
6
Fill a bucket with mild cleaning solution or shoe soap, and use a towel dipped in this solution to scrub any deep spots off the shoes. Allow the shoes to dry for a couple hours before using them, as to not attract any extra dirt.
