How to Remove Vinyl Stickers From Glass

Vinyl stickers, when placed on glass surfaces, create a tight adhesion that is difficult to remove. This works well when you intent to keep the sticker on the glass surfaces for several years, but it becomes a problem when you wish to get rid of the vinyl stickers. Instead of trying to pull the stickers off of the glass with your fingernails, use a helpful cleaning routine to remove the sticker with ease.

Things You'll Need

  • Bowl
  • Vinegar
  • Cloths or paper towels
  • Place a cloth or paper towel over the vinyl sticker.

  • Pour white vinegar onto the paper towel or cloth until the area is saturated.

  • Let the vinegar sit atop the cloth or paper towel for 10 minutes, which loosens the sticker glue.

  • Remove the towel or cloth, and peel off the sticker.

  • Use the towel or cloth to scrub the sticker residue off of the glass surface, and dry the area with a clean cloth or paper towel.
