Vinyl stickers, when placed on glass surfaces, create a tight adhesion that is difficult to remove. This works well when you intent to keep the sticker on the glass surfaces for several years, but it becomes a problem when you wish to get rid of the vinyl stickers. Instead of trying to pull the stickers off of the glass with your fingernails, use a helpful cleaning routine to remove the sticker with ease.
Things You'll Need
- Cloths or paper towels
Place a cloth or paper towel over the vinyl sticker.
Pour white vinegar onto the paper towel or cloth until the area is saturated.
Let the vinegar sit atop the cloth or paper towel for 10 minutes, which loosens the sticker glue.
Remove the towel or cloth, and peel off the sticker.
Use the towel or cloth to scrub the sticker residue off of the glass surface, and dry the area with a clean cloth or paper towel.
