How to Make Strong Glass Cleaner

Instead of buying a pricey glass cleaner, make it at home.

While stores carry a wide variety of cleaners, cleaners can be made at home--including glass cleaner. You can save money by using ingredients around your house to make a glass cleaner that contains less chemicals. Homemade cleaner can be just as effective as the store-bought kind and can be used to clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces around the house.

Things You'll Need

• 1 cup rubbing alcohol
• 1 cup water
• 1 tbs. white vinegar
• Plastic spray bottle
• Bowl
• Spoon

Instructions

1. Pour 1 cup of water into a bowl.

2. Add 1 cup of rubbing alcohol and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to the water. The alcohol and acetic acid in the vinegar are strong enough to kill bacteria.

3. Stir the ingredients together with a spoon.

4. Pour the mixture into an empty spray bottle. You're now ready to clean and shine.
