How to Clean Bathroom Floors
For some homeowners, the most difficult and disgusting cleaning job in the house is the one room that generally needs a good scrubbing the most: the bathroom. Many homeowners and renters also neglect the bathroom's floor because they think most of the germs and mold are on the toilet and vanity. This is not always the case. Mold and germs can form on a bathroom floor and spread to anyone who comes in contact them, so it's important to clean bathroom floors properly. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup salt
- 2 plastic buckets
- 1 cup baking soda
- Lemon
- Knife
- Sponge
- Cotton balls
- Mop
- Cool water

Pour one cup vinegar and one cup salt into a plastic bucket.

Add one cup of baking soda to the mixture. Stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated and create a paste.

Cut a lemon in half with a knife and squeeze the juice from both halves into the paste. Stir the paste.

Place a dollop of the paste onto a sponge.

Work the baking soda paste into the bathroom flooring. The baking soda and vinegar will remove stains and smells. The lemon will help discourage the growth of mold and leave a fresh scent.

Remove grit and grime from grout or hard-to-clean corners by covering a cotton ball with the paste and working it into the area.

Fill a second plastic bucket with plain water. Soak a mop with the water.

Run the wet mop over the entire floor to remove the paste. You may need to soak the mop several times to remove all of the paste. Allow the floor to dry completely before using the bathroom.

Place a dollop of the paste onto a plastic scrub remove any difficult stains.
Wear gloves when working with the paste.
