Whether the coat is one of your favorites or you simply don't want to buy another right now, you'll want to remove the paint. The faster you can treat the spot on your nylon coat, the better.

Things You'll Need

  • Mineral spirits

  • Turpentine

  • Soapy warm water

  • Cold water

  • Small brush

Step 1

Treat the paint stain while it's still wet if possible, as it will be harder to remove once the paint has dried. Dab mineral spirits or turpentine onto the paint to remove it. Flush the area with soapy warm water. Rinse with cold water.
