Marble provides an elegant touch to any home. This natural stone requires special care to keep it looking shiny and new. Contact with acidic or alkaline substances etches the marble and may cause a cloudy appearance. Clean cloudy marble with a polishing powder to restore its original color and shine.
Things You'll Need
- Marble polishing powder
Wipe the cloudy marble with a damp sponge. Clean any dirt or stains on the marble's surface.
Sprinkle enough marble polishing powder to cover the cloudy spot. Gently rub the marble with a damp cloth until the cloudiness is gone.
Rinse the marble with a clean, wet cloth. Dry the marble immediately with a towel.
