How to Create a Super Hero Kid's Game
Many children love superheroes. The bright costumes and strong themes resonate well with children. While some children are content to run around with their arms out, some want to have a more meaningful type of game. As a parent, you can come up with superhero-themed activities to do with your child. These activities are fun for both parties and show children that you are taking an active part in their lives.
Instructions
-
-
1
Watch superhero shows or read superhero books to get a feel for what your child expects.
-
2
Pay attention to the superhero-based games your child plays with her friends as well as when she is alone.
-
-
3
Start small with little activities where you both act out something the child already knows and understands. Single scenes from a television show or comic book are good starting areas.
-
4
Expand the activity by designing story lines to act out with your child. At first, use common themes like robbers or car chases.
-
5
Develop the areas and themes that your stories encompass. For example, introduce a big villain who is causing mischief and will become a recurring character.
-
6
Ask your child to come up with his own superhero-based themes and plots, and then improvise a story line with him.

Tips & Warnings
Don't take the spotlight away from the child during these games. Allow them to be the hero while you remain the narrator or the sidekick.
Use these games to reinforce ideas like restraint and fair play with your child.
Avoid situations where combat is the only option, no need to reinforce bad behavior in a game.
