Instructions

    • 1

Dab at the soda stain with damp paper towels or rags. Do not rub on the stain, as you want to lift the stain from the carpet fibers, not press it deeper into the carpet.

    • 2

Place 1 tbsp. of dish detergent or laundry detergent in a spray bottle and fill it the rest of the way with hot water. If you do not have a spray bottle, fill a bucket halfway with the detergent and water.

    • 3

Spray or wipe the cleaning solution onto the soda stain.

    • 4

Dab at the stain gently with a white damp rag or paper towel. Use white paper towels or rags when removing the stain to prevent color transfer to the carpet.

    • 5

Continue to place detergent on the stain and gently dab with the rag until the entire stain is lifted from the carpet. Turn the rag to expose a clean area as you continue to lift the stain.

Tips & Warnings
