      Wipe up as much construction glue as possible with the damp cloth. This will make the whole process much easier because you won't have as much to clean up.

      Turn the hair dryer on high heat.

      Heat the construction glue to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This will soften the glue and make it removable.

      Wipe up the remaining glue with a damp cloth.
