Vinegar is a natural product that can clean your laundry and function as a natural antiseptic or mold remover. You can also use vinegar as an inexpensive, gentle and natural method to remove wrinkles from your clothing.
Things You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Spray bottle
- Clothes hanger
Pour one part vinegar and three parts water into a spray bottle. Shake the bottle to mix the ingredients.
Spritz dry wrinkled clothes with the vinegar mixture. Completely moisten the wrinkles.
Hang the clothes to air-dry. The wrinkles will naturally disappear.
Tips & Warnings
- Test the vinegar mixture on a small, inconspicuous part of the clothing prior to applying to the entire garment. This will allow you to see how the mixture reacts to your clothes.
- Remove dark spots on your iron's bottom with a vinegar and salt mixture. Mix equal parts salt and vinegar in a small bowl. Dip a clean towel into the mixture and rub the spots off of your iron. Remove the mixture with a clean wet towel.
