How to Paint a Room Using Seahawks Colors

Save

Nothing shows off team pride like painting an entire room in team colors, and no team has as devoted a fan base as the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. (There's a reason they have an inherent home field advantage whenever visitors travel up to Seattle to play games.) More than anything, the key is making sure the correct colors are being used in the room. But besides that, the only thing limiting what can be placed in the Seahawks shrine is the fan's own imagination.

Things You'll Need

  • Paint brush
  • Paint buckets
  • Paint
  • Paint roller
  • Find the correct paint color. The colors of the Seattle Seahawks are "Seahawks blue," "Seahawks navy," neon green and white. While white is easy to attain, make sure to bring a sample image of the Seahawks logo to the paint store in order to enable the salesperson to give you the exact colors you need.

  • Settle on the design scheme you want to use. Instead of simply painting each wall of the room in one of the four Seahawks colors, you may want to add a bit of every color on every wall, to give it a more uniform feel. One option is to use stripes of all four colors painted around the entire room. The width of the stripes will depend entirely on your own personal preference and the size of the room.

  • Paint your room. Use the design scheme you settled on in Step 2. Use large paint brushes or rollers in order to cover a large amount of wall with Seahawks colors in a short amount of time.

  • Add stencils to the walls. They can be of either Seahawks' jerseys, the Seahawks' team logo or other designs celebrating the team. Fill in the stencils with the official team colors.

  • Add Seahawks decorations. Once the room is done, add in any Seahawks paraphernalia you own or can get your hands on in order to complete your goal of devoting the room to your favorite team in the NFL.
