How to Care for Crocs
Crocs came on the scene and stole the shoe show. Made from a material that is rubber-like and odor-resistant, they are the perfect shoe for the gym, the beach, boating and even some occupations. Because the patented material Crocs are made of seems so unlike any other shoe material, you may wonder how to care for them. Luckily, caring for Crocs is as easy as wearing them. Things You'll Need
- Baby wipes
- Sink or bucket
- Hand towels
- Mild detergent
- Car interior wipes

Crocs Liner

Remove the liner. On each side of a Croc shoe, there are rivets that look like buttons. Un-button the liner from each side of the Croc. Gently pull to remove the liner.

Fill a kitchen sink with about two inches of cold water. Add a small squirt of dish soap to the water. Place the liners in the water and let soak for 10 minutes.

Using your hands, scrub the liners with soapy water to clean.

Drain the sink and rinse the liners with fresh, cold water.

Squeeze out excess water and either hang or place on a towel to dry. Re-attach liners to shoes when they are dry.

Wipe Crocs with a baby wipe for a quick cleaning.

Fill a sink with two inches of cold water and a squirt of dish washing soap. A bucket may also be used for this part of the cleaning if you do not want to use your kitchen sink.

Using a small hand towel or dish towel, clean the Crocs using the soapy water.

Drain the dirty water and rinse Crocs with fresh, cold water.

Let the shoes air dry.

Polish. Using a car interior wipe, wipe the Crocs all over. This will give the shoes a nice shine.

Tips & Warnings
The Crocs company sells a product for keeping shoes clean and polished.
When rivets or straps break, contact the Crocs company as they often replace these parts.
Do not expose Crocs to extreme temperatures. Leaving Crocs in the sun or out in freezing temperatures can cause the shoes to warp or shrink.
Do not put Crocs in a washing machine or dishwasher.
