How to Clean a Smooth Top GE Stove

Smooth top GE stoves are beautiful--until they become dirty. Things You'll Need

• CeramaBryte cleaner
• Sponge
• Soft cloth
• Razor blade or scraper from the CeramaBryte cleaning kit

Cleaning

1. Allow the cooktop to cool thoroughly.

2. Place a small amount of CeramaBryte--about the size of a dollar coin--on the cooktop.

3. Scrub vigorously with the sponge until the whole cooktop is covered in an even layer of CeramaBryte. Scrub using a circular motion for best results.

4. Dry the cooktop with a soft cloth, rubbing until the CeramaBryte is no longer visible on the cooktop.

Burned-on Residue

1. Allow the cooktop to cool thoroughly.

2. Spread several drops of CeramaBryte over the burned-on residue.

3. Scrape the burned-on residue by holding the cooktop scraper or a razor blade at a 45-degree angle. It will be necessary to apply pressure to the scraper.

   Keep a small amount of CeramaBryte on the spot as you scrape, reapplying as needed.

4. Remove any remaining burned-on spots with a sponge after scraping.

5. Polish the entire top with CeramaBryte and dry with a soft cloth after removing all the burned-on residue.
