How to Make Yucca Root and Rosemary Shampoo
Yucca root is ancient cleanser, often used as soap to cleanse the body and hair, particularly early in US history, as yucca root grows all over the country. Yucca root and rosemary shampoo does not lather quite like commercial shampoos, because it does not contain any additives to make it lather, however it does clean the hair and reduce unwanted sebum from the scalp very well. This shampoo recipe will last about five days if used every day, though the recipe is easily doubled or tripled. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Pour a small amount of the shampoo and work it into the uppermost part of the hair and scalp. Add more shampoo to your hands, working up toward the top of your head and down toward the back of your neck.
Avoid mixing or storing any type of homemade shampoo or soap in an aluminum container, as there is some concern about heavy metals entering the body through the scalp and pores.
