Don't worry about filling all of the white space. You don't need to fill both sides of the card. A few sentences are sufficient.

Resist the urge to only sign your name. When you sign your name only, you are sending the message that you didn't have time or didn't care to write something more personal.

Keep your message simple and personal. What does it mean to write simply? Write as you speak. Don't use inflated language or write more formally because you are writing inside a wedding card. What does it mean to write personally? Write what you know. Point out personal attributes of the bride and groom.

Don't write anything you don't mean. Do you think the bride married the wrong man or vice versa? Then, don't write that you are "happy" for the couple. Instead, write something that is true. An alternative: "Rachel and Robert, I'm so blessed to know both of you."
